Terms and conditions applicable to the reservation of Pooch-Washing and/or Claw-Clipping services:

  1. Acceptance

J.E. MONDOU LTD. (hereinafter, « Mondou ») agrees to provide the individual identified on the reservation form (hereinafter, the « Client ») with pooch-washing and/or claw clipping services (in connection with their dog, cat, or other small pet) (hereinafter, the « Service ») in accordance with the provisions of this agreement. By making an online reservation through Mondou’s booking system, the Client agrees to abide by (and comply with) the provisions of this pooch-washing/claw-clipping agreement (hereinafter, the « Agreement »).

  1. Terms and Conditions

The Customer must be a Câlin member to use the Service. The terms and conditions of the Câlin Reward Program apply.

  1. Price

Subject to the terms and conditions of the Cuddle Club rewards program, the claw-clipping Service is provided at a rate of ten dollars (10,00$) plus applicable sales taxes. A rebate of ten dollars (10,00$) plus applicable sales taxes is offered to Level Devoted and Level Beloved members of the Cuddle Club.

  1. Duties and obligations of the Client

The Client hereby commits to:

  1. Show up at the relevant Mondou store at the time set for their appointment and pay the fees applicable to the Service (if any);
  2. Provide Mondou employees with all the relevant information they need in order to provide the Service adequately (including information pertaining to their pet, such as allergies, preferences, needs, habits, overall health, patterns of behaviour, and actions to avoid);
  3. Answer (to the best of their knowledge) any and all questions Mondou employees might have with respect to their pet;
  4. Whenever the pooch-washing service is provided, thoroughly clean the tub after each use.


  1. Mondou’s duties and obligations

Mondou hereby commits to:

  1. Provide the Service requested by the Client;
  2. Whenever the claw-clipping Service is provided, thoroughly clean the tools and other equipment between uses
  3. In the event where a medical assessment or treatment was required while the Service is being provided (and on account of the fact that such Service was provided), bring the Client’s pet to a veterinarian clinic designated by Mondou, at the latter’s own expense – being understood and agreed that Mondou will not be held liable for any fees or costs associated with any pre-existing illness, injury, or other medical condition that is in no way related to the provision of the Service.
  1. Confirmation of a reservation

Once the Client has completed their online reservation, Mondou will confirm the latter by means of an e-mail. It will also send an e-mail or SMS reminder (at the client’s option) the day before the appointment. In the event where the Client elected to be reminded by means of an SMS, additional charges may apply in accordance with the agreement entered into with their mobile phone service provider (especially if their package does not include unlimited text messaging) – charges Mondou will in no circumstances whatsoever be responsible for.

  1. Refusal to provide the Service

Mondou may refuse to provide the Service to any Client whose pet it believes, for any reason whatsoever, should not be subjected to manipulation (i.e., among other things, has fleas, was sprayed by a skunk, or suffers from health issues or behavioral problems).

  1. Modification or cancellation of an appointment

The Client may cancel the Agreement at any given time. They shall, at least two (2) hours in advance, notify Mondou of any change or cancellation.

  1. Protection of privacy

All terms and conditions published by Booxi Inc. (including the Privacy Protection Policy) shall apply.

  1. Limited liability

Nothing in this Agreement (including the provisions of this section 10) shall ever be interpreted or construed as disclaiming any kind of liability that cannot be excluded under any legislation dealing with consumer protection, or as detrimentally impacting any of the rights applicable laws and regulations confer upon the Client.

In no circumstances whatsoever (and to the fullest extent permitted by law) shall Mondou or its affiliates, directors, officers, employees, agents, or representatives be held liable for any kind of harm, damage, or loss (including any damage caused to the Client’s pet or to a third party on account of the fact that the Client requested the provision of the Service).

The Client hereby accepts and undertakes any and all risks associated with the fact that the Service is provided within facilities where other animals are kept. In any event, the Client must make sure that their pet’s vaccination records are current and up-to-date.

  1. Defense and indemnification

Nothing in this Agreement (including the provisions of this section 11) shall ever be interpreted or construed as imposing upon the Client any kind of duty or obligation they not bear under applicable laws and regulations dealing with consumer protection.

The Client hereby agrees (to the fullest extent permitted by law) to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Mondou as well as its affiliates, directors, officers, employees, agents, and representatives against any and all third-party legal claims, proceedings, or expenses (including judicial and extra-judicial costs) arising from the Client’s use of the Service or any violation of this Agreement on the part of the Client.

The duties and obligations referred to in sections 10 and 11 (namely, limited liability and indemnification) shall endure and remain binding after the Service has been provided.

  1. Legal capacity

The Client hereby represents and warrants that (i) they are of legal age within their state of province of residence, OR (ii) they are an emancipated minor, OR (iii) they are fourteen (14) or older, have obtained the consent of their parents or legal guardian, and are legally capable of entering into this Agreement and of fulfilling its terms and conditions.

The Client who has obtained their parents’ or legal guardian’s consent must ask them to read this Agreement so they can confirm that the Client is legally able to abide by (and comply with) its terms and conditions. In case of uncertainty, the Client must refrain from requesting the Service,

  1. Miscellaneous provisions
  1. The interpretation and fulfillment of this Agreement shall be governed by the laws and regulations in force within the province of Québec, as well as by the rules and regulations of the Parliament of Canada that are likely to apply to its subject matter. Any and all legal claims and proceedings revolving around the provision of the Service shall be entrusted to the exclusive competence and jurisdiction of the civil courts sitting within the judicial district of Montréal (province of Québec, Canada).
  2. This Agreement represents the whole understanding Mondou and the Client have reached with respect to its subject matter. Should any provision of this Agreement ever be declared invalid or unenforceable, no other provision shall be in the least impacted.
  3. The Client may not assign this Agreement in favor of any third party, whereas Mondou may do it at its sole and absolute discretion and without having to notify the Client accordingly.
