Terms of Sales

These terms apply to any sale made on the Mondou web site, operated by J.E. Mondou Ltd.

Product availability and delivery times

All orders of in-stock items require one full business day for processing, to which the delivery time must be added. The latter is determined by the method of delivery chosen by the customer at the time of ordering. We cannot be held responsible for any failure to respect delivery times. We will notify you if the product is not available.

We deliver to Quebec and certain regions of Ontario only.

Some regions are excluded of our shipping territory, such as the Québec far north.

When in doubt or for any other questions, please contact our customer service department via our contact form making sure to provide us with your postal code.

Pricing

Prices displayed on the Mondou website are in Canadian dollars, before taxes and delivery fees. All orders are payable in Canadian dollars. Amounts must be paid in full, in a single payment, including applicable taxes and delivery charges, when submitting the order.

Delivery fees

Delivery fees cover preparation and packaging, plus stamping. They are determined according to the delivery method chosen by the customer at the time of purchase, the delivery address, the number and the type of items ordered as well as the total amount of the order before taxes. Please refer to our delivery fees displayed in our Shipping Policy and when submitting your order. Mondou may modify these fees at any time.

Payment

Orders submitted on the Mondou site must be made by credit card. We currently accept Visa and Mastercard. Orders submitted on the Mondou site may be paid using prepaid cards.

Returns and exchanges

If you are not satisfied with your order, please refer to our Return Policy to determine if you are eligible for a refund or exchange.

Warranty

We guarantee the items will be free of any flaw related to design, packaging, material or manufacturing, for a period of 30 days after purchase.

We will repair or replace, at our own discretion, any defective item, free of charge.

In order to obtain this warranty, you must provide the defective item and a copy of the original sales receipt, for inspection purposes.

This warranty is null and void if we determine the item has been improperly used, or has been changed or altered in any way.

This warranty does not protect against normal wear and tear or damages resulting from abusive usage.

This is the only warranty we offer. there is no other specific warranty, express or implied, including any implicit warranty or quality requirement, of marketability or fitness, and these implicit warranties, where necessary, are limited to the duration of the present warranty. under no circumstances will we be held responsible for consequential, special, direct or indirect damages, including but not limited to, loss of business or profits resulting from the sale or use of any product, even if we had been advised of the possibility of such damage.

Certain regions do not allow exclusions and limitations regarding implicit warranties, or consequential, direct or indirect damages. Said exclusions and limitations therefore do not apply to these regions.

Applicable law and courts of competent juridiction

The present terms of sale are governed by the laws in force in the province of Quebec, and any litigation must be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of the Province of Quebec, in the district of Montreal. Should any provision of the terms of sale be deemed invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction, it shall not have the effect of rendering the other provisions invalid, and such provision will be dissociated from the other provisions in the terms and conditions; the latter will remain in force. These terms of sale and all other legal notices posted on our web site set forth the entire understanding between us concerning sales made on the Mondou web site.
