Advantage II is highly safe for dogs when used strictly according to the label instructions. As a topical treatment, it is not absorbed into the bloodstream but instead spreads across the skin and coat to provide external protection. To ensure maximum effectiveness and safety, it is essential to follow the correct dosage based on your dog's specific weight.

You can choose from four distinct formats designed for different needs:

• Advantage II for small dogs weighing up to 4.5 kg
• Advantage II for medium dogs weighing between 4.6 kg and 11 kg
• Advantage II for large dogs weighing between 11 kg and 25 kg
• Advantage II for extra large dogs weighing over 25 kg

This product is formulated exclusively for dogs. You should never apply this version to a cat because the concentration of active ingredients is specifically calibrated for canine physiology. If your dog lives with a cat, we recommend keeping them separated until the product is completely dry to prevent any accidental ingestion through grooming.

Advantage II follows strict criteria to minimise the risk of side effects. One of its advantages is that it remains on the surface of the skin and is not absorbed into the bloodstream, unlike oral treatments. Unfortunately, as with any treatment, in rare cases, side effects such as irritation, temporary itching or behavioural changes may occur. In the event of an unexpected reaction, contact your vet immediately. We advise you to monitor your dog for the first few hours after applying the product, whatever happens.

It is important to prevent your dog from licking the product, as this could cause excessive salivation or even nausea. If this is the case, we advise you to clean its mouth with water and keep an eye on it. For optimal safety, we recommend that you:

• Monitor your pet for 2 hours after application to ensure that the product dries completely.
• Apply the product correctly, following the instructions for use and distributing the pipette contents in 3 or 4 spots along the spine, where the animal cannot reach it.
• If you have several animals, separate them temporarily to prevent them from licking each other.
