Why choose Advantage® II?
Advantage® II is applied to your pet topically and kills through contact meaning fleas don’t have to bite your pet to die. Oral flea medications require fleas to bite before they are killed.
How often should I use Advantage® II?
Advantage® II should be applied monthly and may be used year-round for flea prevention.
My pet is strictly indoors. Should I still use Advantage® ll?
Yes. Fleas can be brought into the home by you or other pets without you even realizing it. Immature flea stages can remain dormant until conditions are appropriate to infest pets as adults. That’s why it is important to also protect indoor pets.
I only see fleas on one of my pets. ls it sufficient to just treat the infested pet?
No. All cats or dogs in the home should be treated, since the infested pet is likely to pass on fleas to other pets in the same environment.
At what age can I start using Advantage® II on my cat or dog?
Advantage® II is for use on dogs and puppies 7 weeks of age and older, or cats and kittens 8 weeks of age and older.
