Terms of use - Applicable to the comment and private messaging areas of Mondou's social network accounts

The comment and private messaging areas of Mondou's social networking accounts are open to all people regardless of age, race, religion, sex, ethnicity, gender or sexual orientation.

Your comments and opinions are always welcome and enrich our programming.

Mondou reserves the right to delete a comment or private message if there is any doubt as to the author's identity.

Mondou reserves the right to ban without warning anyone who violates its Netiquette.

When you post your content on Mondou's social networking accounts or contact them by private messaging, you must be aware of the following:

  1. Make sure you stay on topic.
  2. Avoid posting the same content repeatedly, otherwise it will be considered as junk and all comments/messages will be deleted.
  3. We ask you to show respect:
    • between users who post a comment or a reply to a comment;
    • to all Mondou employees involved in a publication or persons mentioned in the articles and documents under which you comment;
    • to Mondou's corporate and/or advertising partners.
  4. Mondou reserves the right to delete comments if they contain hyperlinks to sites whose authenticity or credibility we cannot verify.
  5. You must be the author of your comment. Any infringement of copyright is prohibited (e.g. by copying extracts from other sites without asking permission and without quoting the source). If any part of your comment contains text quoted by another person, this person must be mentioned, otherwise it will not be accepted and will be deleted.
  6. You may not post content that is likely to cause offence or expose a person or group of persons to hatred or contempt on the grounds of race, origin, colour, religion, sex, gender, sexual orientation, age or physical or mental disability.
  7. Your comment or private message may be deleted immediately and without warning if it contains any of the following:
    • Hate speech, insults or defamatory content towards any person or entity listed in point 3 above
    • Vulgar, obscene or sexually explicit material;
    • Threats or harassment;
    • Attempts to mobilise the public for any cause other than the subject matter of the publication under comment;
    • Content or arguments based on false claims or news.
  8. Respect the privacy of others by not including in your content any personal information (such as phone numbers or email addresses) or private conversations.
  9. Exercise restraint in your comments about animal death or injury.
  10. Your content should be personal, not commercial. Avoid sharing commercial promotions and press releases.

Harassment on any topic will not be tolerated. Once Mondou's response has been issued and the message clearly shared that the discussion will not be continued for any reason, any further comments or messages will be deleted.

The main language of communication on Mondou's social networking accounts is French. However, if necessary, we are able to help and assist you in English. Please note that any negative or derogatory comments about someone speaking English (towards other Internet users or towards Mondou employees who manage the social networking accounts) will not be tolerated and will be deleted immediately.

If you violate this Netiquette, your comment or private message will be deleted immediately, without warning.

Mondou reserves the right to close a comment thread or series of private messages at any time following such an indication and to delete any additional comments or messages.

Thank you for your understanding and enjoy the discussions!

Please note that Mondou uses inclusive writing (epicene writing and feminization of writing) in its social networks. To learn more about this, you can consult the OQLF's link on this subject (in French only).
