Every donation is the beginning of a beautiful adoption story
In shelters across Quebec, thousands of animals are patiently waiting for the chance to find a new family. Behind each one is a story of abandonment, but also a deep desire to give love.
Since 2018, the Mondou Mondon for the Shelters campaign, driven by the commitment of the entire community, has helped raise essential funds to support shelters throughout the province and give animals a fresh start.
This year once again, until July 5, 2026, Mondou is launching the 9th edition of this large-scale solidarity campaign for many shelters across the province
More than a campaign, a mission
Mondou Mondon for the Shelters is a movement dedicated to providing essential and lasting support to Quebec shelters. Donations help fund veterinary care, support spay and neuter programs, modernize aging facilities and promote responsible adoption.
Because on the ground, the challenges are many:
- Growing animal overpopulation
- Lack of financial resources to meet essential needs
- Workforce shortages in many shelters
- Outdated facilities requiring urgent upgrades
In the face of these realities, every donation has a concrete and immediate impact on the daily work of shelters, and most importantly, on the lives of the animals in their care.
An inspiring spokesperson shelter: Proanima
For the second year in a row, Mondou is proud to shine a spotlight on Proanima, a shelter recognized for its exceptional commitment to animal welfare and its valuable contribution to the community.
As the campaign’s spokesperson shelter, Proanima embodies hope and resilience, reminding us that behind every adoption lies the beginning of a love story.
How can you contribute?
Throughout the campaign, you can support Quebec shelters in several ways:
- Redeem your Cuddle points for a donation
- Make a monetary donation
- Purchase selected products, in store or online
Every gesture counts and helps give animals waiting for adoption a second chance.
New this year: a contest
From May 7 to July 5, 2026, make a donation using your Cuddle points or money at any Mondou store and you will be entered for a chance to win 25,000 Cuddle points, valued at $500.
In total, 7 winners will be selected. A way to thank our loyal and committed community, year after year.

Since the launch of this initiative, more than $2 million has been donated to Quebec shelters thanks to the generosity of the community.
