This Esbilac food for 4-8 weeks puppies is made with cereals, and help them make an easy transition to solid food.

Esbilac 2nd Step should be lapped out of a bowl and not fed from a bottle. Esbilac 2nd Step has been formulated to meet the nutritional needs of young puppies being weaned from mother or bottle fed puppies progressing to solid foods. For best results, the product should be mixed with ready-to-feed liquid Esbilac or reconstituted powder Esbilac to give the consistency necessary to get good food consumption. If Esbilac is not available, water may be used. Fresh, clean water should always be available for drinking. It is recommended that Esbilac 2nd Step be fed until puppies are 7 or 8 weeks old when they can be fed commercial puppy or dog food as desired. All changes in diet should be made gradually over a period of one week.
Feeding Guidelines: Feed puppies three times per day
Small puppies (450g (1 lb) average) : 1 tablespoon powder
Medium puppies (1,3kg (3 lbs.) average) : 4 tablespoons powder
Large puppies (2,2kg (5 lbs.) average) : 5 tablespoons powder
More or less food may be needed by individual puppies to satisfy their food requirements for optimum performance.
